High praise from Italy continues to follow USMNT star Christian Pulisic during his American summer tour with AC Milan.
In a recent ESPN FC interview, Portuguese striker and AC Milan forward Rafael Leão says that CP11 will help bring more trophies to the Rossoneri.
“[Pulisic’s arrival and quality will] push me as well to make more, and some situations that the coach will maybe can put, I imagine, Pulisic in my position, but in my head, you have quality to help the team to make the difference like me.
So I think it’s important to have seamless players, like high level, high quality, and like this, it’s more easy to, not easy, but help us to get trophies.”
The 2021-2022 Serie A MVP describes Pulisic’s fearlessness as one of his favorite qualities in a footballer.
“I really like him. I like the players who don’t have like afraid to get a ball and go one against one, one against two, one against three. I like this type of player – fast, you can shoot with the left foot, right foot.”
The striker is in the States with Pulisic and the rest of their squad on a pre-season tour.
Puli has been cooking since he landed in Italy, and his masterclass continues on his home tour.
That’s against REAL MADRID, mind you – yes, that Real Madrid.
The European giants went head-to-head in the Rose Bowl on Sunday, with Los Blancos winning 3-2 in the final minute.
Puli helped open up the scoring for Milan with a perfectly placed corner and unrelenting pressure.
It’s worth mentioning that Leão replaced Pulisic in the 70th minute. The game was tied 2-2.
It should be no surprise. Leão was right when he said Pulisic brings quality to AC Milan.
But he also forgot to mention one important thing – Christian Pulisic is Real Madrid’s daddy.
AC Milan will take on fellow Italian heavyweight Juventus in Carson, California, on Thursday, before ending their summer tour against Barcelona next Tuesday.
