All Eyes on Der Klassiker: Top Weekend Bundesliga, LaLiga, Ligue 1, Premier League, and Serie A Matches

Top ten table battles are taking place all over European football this weekend, from North Rhine to North London.

While Arsenal look to prove themselves against their second Big Six challenger in a row, top teams in Spain and Italy will fight for points.

Here are the top European soccer games to watch this coming weekend.

Bundesliga

Match: Dortmund-Bayern

When and Where: Saturday, 9:30 am PST, ESPN+

Scouting Report: All eyes will be on BVB-BAY on Saturday. Bayern currently sits in third, tied with Borussia Dortmund for points but leading on goal differential by 16. USMNT star Gio Reyna will likely sit out, still nursing an injury picked up during international duty. This feels like Bayern’s game to lose, but Dortmund is too good to be embarrassed on home soil.

Prediction: 3-1, Bayern

LaLiga

Match: Real Sociedad-Villareal

When and Where: Sunday, 9:30 am PST, ESPN+

Scouting Report: It’s seven against eight in LaLiga, with Sociedad leading Villareal with one point on the table. Both squads are hot off Europa League wins on Thursday. Expect a tactical, low-scoring affair.

Prediction: 2-1, Real Sociedad

Ligue 1

Match: PSG-Reims

When and Where: Saturday, Noon PST, beIN SPORTS

Scouting Report: As always, the only game worth watching in France is the only match heavily featuring Mbappe, Neymar, and Messi. The GOAT made headlines yesterday saying this World Cup will be his last – take every opportunity to watch Messi while we still have him.

Prediction: 4-0, PSG

Premier League

Match: Arsenal-Liverpool

When and Where: Sunday, 8:30 am PST, NBC Sports

Scouting Report: Arsenal passed a monumental test last week, thumping Tottenham 3-1 in the North London Derby to stay atop the Premiership table. Liverpool had a Kloppian comeback against fourth-place Brighton to tie 3-3 last week – will the ninth-place Reds give the Gunners any trouble at all?

Prediction: 4-2, Arsenal

Serie A

Match: Udinese-Atalanta

When and Where: Sunday, 6:00 am PST, Paramount+

Scouting Report: While I want to say AC Milan-Juventus is the top match, the real Italian drama will be in Udinese on Sunday. It’s Serie A’s number two against number three, both teams looking to go tops with a win and a Napoli tie or loss. Neither team is too high-scoring (tune into Milan-Juve for that). Should be a defensive masterclass.

Prediction: 2-1, Udinese
