Americans in the Champions League: Watch These USMNT Hopefuls Play UCL Football Today

Two Americans could take the Champions League pitch today, with a third remaining on the sideline due to a red card.

USMNT fans will feed their underdog spirit as Malik Tillman, Timmy Chandler, and Owen Otasowie’s squads go against bigger, heavily-favored teams.

Here are the three games where you can see the three USMNT hopefuls, all at noon and all on Paramount+.

Liverpool vs. Rangers

Americans: Malik Tillman, James Sands (out due to red card against Napoli)

Scouting Report: All signs point to a Liverpool victory, even if their defense is holier than the church this year. Rangers find themselves into a corner at the bottom of Group A – watch for Air Tillman to fly again, hopefully bagging a trademark header.

Prediction: 2-0, Liverpool

Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Tottenham

American: Timmy Chandler

Scouting Report: Tottenham will come into this one hot after their upset loss to Sporting CP a few weeks ago. Eintracht Frankfurt is red hot off a win over Bundesliga-leaders Union Berlin – but American right back Timmy Chandler will start this one off the bench.

Prediction: 1-0, Tottenham

Club Brugge vs. Atletico Madrid

American: Owen Otasowie

Scouting Report: This match is a quiet explosion. Though Madrid is undoubtedly the bigger club and expected to win, Club Brugge has won their last two UCL matches by a combined score of 5-0. Unfortunately, Otasowie is absent from the available players today for unknown reasons – but it should still be an exciting game.

Prediction: 2-2
