USMNT star Weston McKennie, defying all medical logic, returned to Serie A on Monday despite suffering a shoulder injury two weeks ago.
It was believed McKennie would be rehabbing his injury till September, but McKennie is a USMNT player, and therefore has that dawg in his heart.
McKennie returned to Serie A action with Juventus against Sassuolo, hitting new signing Angel Di Maria with the new handshake in the 27th minute.
McKennie played the full 90, looking fit in his unexpected return. That’s good news for Juve and USMNT fans alike.
Juventus now sits in second in the Serie A table. Their next match will be against #18 Sampdoria next Monday.
