Man U Tell PSG To Back Off Rashford While Trying To Land Rabiot From Juve

PSG is somehow trying to pack even more firepower into their already fully loaded offense.

As if Mbappe, Neymar, and Messi weren’t enough, Paris Saint-Germain wants to add Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford to the squad.

Unknown to Old Trafford, Rashford’s representatives met with PSG last week.

Since news of PSG’s intentions have gone public, Manchester United has issued a warning to the Parisian club – The Red Devils still want their young striker, who started against Brighton last weekend. Man U has since said emphatically that Rashford will not leave Old Trafford this summer, with coach Ten Hag calling the England goal-scorer “really important.”

“He’s really important. You have seen from the first day I’m here, I’m really happy with him, I don’t want to lose him. He’s definitely in our plans at Manchester United.”

Rashford has struggled for the last year and a half, recently losing his spot on England’s World Cup roster.

The news comes as the Red Devils are trying to make a deal for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot. Per transfer talisman Fabrizio Romano, Rabiot salary negotiations are ongoing.

It is unclear how Rashford will fit with Ronaldo this season, who is Manchester United’s leading scorer from last year. CR7 publicly wants out for a Champions League-bound squad. Cristiano began Man U’s season opener on the bench and, per Fabrizio Romano, Ten Hag says the Portuguese legend could start week two on the sidelines as well.

After an opening week loss to Brighton, Man U fans are already starting to feel desperate.

Manchester United plays away at Brentford on Saturday.
