Transfer Alert: Sevilla Adds Isco As Wolves Pick Up Guedes From Valencia

Even though the Premier League kicked off last weekend, top European clubs haven’t stopped making the most of a closing transfer window.

Champions League-bound Sevilla, who finished fourth in La Liga last season, is adding depth after losing out on transfers like Anthony Martial over the offseason.

Isco is a legend in Spain, playing for Valencia, Malaga, and Real Madrid, where he won five (!!!) UCL trophies and three La Liga titles. The legend is now heading to the Andalusian capital of Sevilla to try and help the Rojiblancos build off last season’s momentum. The Spanish great will join SFC on a free transfer.

Elsewhere in La Liga, Valencia let Portuguese winger Gonçalo Guedes transfer to the Premier League’s Wolverhampton Wolves on a permanent move with $30 million in add-ons, per Fabrizio Romano.

The winger helped Valencia win the Copa del Rey in 2019 and finish ninth in La Liga last season. The Wolves are looking to help out star Pedro Neto in the attacking third after letting a one-goal lead slip against Leeds United, America’s Team, over the weekend.
