Here Are the Top 5 Goals of the Week From Bundesliga, Premier League, and Ligue 1

Top European soccer leagues more than satisfied fans’ needs for golazos after a long and hot summer transfer window.

From a ridiculous bicycle kick in Ligue 1 to an impossible header in the German Bundesliga, here are the top 5 goals from kick-off weekend.

1 – Messi Pops a Wheelie

Looks like Messi is finally settling in France. C’est la vie.

Messi had Clermont Foot and PSG fans alike saying “C’est la GOAT” after this bicycle beauty. PSG won the game 5-0 and Neymar had three assists.

2 – Haaland’s Sprinter

There’s something about the athleticism of this one, the ability to open up his hips during a full sprint, that should be really, really scary to the rest of the Premier League, Champions League, and world.

3 – Nunez’s Heel

Speaking of putting the PL on notice – welcome Uruguayan goal magician Darwin Nunez introduces himself to Fulham with the back of his heel, producing a game-tying stunner.

4 – Lucky Lewy (JK – This is all skill.)

In a game that counted for absolutely nothing (it was being reported that Barcelona’s signings wouldn’t even be able to register with La Liga at the time), Robert Lewandowski decided to just have fun with it and make grown men look like small children. This is only one of many Lewandowski/Barcelona highlights to come this season, providing FBC can get their finances in order.

5 – Prouncing Prowsey

Even though Tottenham would roar back to win 4-1, Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse opened the scoring with a bouncy, acrobatic goal, complete with a failed diving save attempt.

Mandatory USMNT Mention

We would be remiss were we not to mention Brenden Aarsonson’s role in Leeds United’s go-ahead own goal in a come-from-behind win over Wolves.

Union Berlin and USMNT hopeful Jordan Pefok got in on the action early, tapping in a long-range header at an impossible angle.
