Yesterday, Marlon Ritter of Bundesliga 2 team FCK absolutely smashed one in from central against Bundesliga 1 team SC Freiburg, giving FCK the lead.

Of course, these long-distance goals happen every season and always make the highlight reel.
They’re the equivalent of half-court shots in the NBA – we all know they can do it, they do it several times a season, and we all go crazy when it’s done. Same thing here – hitting that shot from that distance against that level of a keeper is part luck, part skill, and all fun for the fans.
FCK held the opening goal’s lead for most of the match, eventually succumbing to SC Freiburg 2-1.
